Bad grammar drives me crazy. Spelling mistakes make me foam at the mouth. I wish I could say that means that my emails are free of all errors and that I’ve never been guilty of a typo, but it doesn’t. It just means that I feel unreasonably upset when I spot them. It also means that I am particularly fastidious about the websites that I work with, checking the spelling more than once and looking out for those pesky “they’re”s and “there”s.
This is why the discovery of an article called Top Ten Grammar Errors that Haunt Web Pages made me so happy – and why I immediately decided it was worth linking to. Now, I don’t agree with everything that Robin Nobles says, but I love the fact that he’s brought up the subject. (I just know that this posting will make some people want to dig through our site until they find a mistake they can email me about. Fine, go ahead – I didn’t say I was perfect, I just said I try really hard!)
